The consortium Geoglobal and Sérvulo & Associados is currently responsible for the Land Registration Project on Boavista Island, an initiative of the Government of Cape Verde, which is part of the Property Management for the Promotion of Investment - LAND Project, financed by the Government of United States of America through the Millennium Challenge Coorporation (MCC) and the Millennium Challenge Account - Cape Verde II (MCA).

This project has the following main objectives:

(i) the creation of institutional, procedural and legal bases for the establishment of property rights, which guarantee greater juridical security in the access, management and transaction of properties, and
(ii) clarification of property rights and limits, involving the collection and clarification of physical limits of parcels as well as all information on property rights.

The consortium will carry out this operation in six major phases: (1) Preparation of Land Registry operation, (2) Acquisition of cadastral data, (3) Draw up an opinion, (4) Quality control, (6) Definitive characterization.

Its completion is scheduled for October 2017.
